Mr.Williams I didn't do three of the strings for homework because they were too long, and I couldn't do it on the door because the chair was too wobbly to stand on.Is it ok if i do it in class tomorrow?-angela

Mr. J. Williams said...

Angela- I did not want you to do the data at home. The rest of your group needs to be with you. I wanted the string cut and labeled. I will allow you to collect data sometime later this week.

Ok Mr.Williams.The strings are already labeled.I seem to be missing one.I can probably use some string at home to make it but I'm going to have to check.

Mr.Williams are we allowed to wear shorts and sweatpants tomorrow?

Mr. J. Williams said...

I am not really sure what you are asking. Of course you can wear shorts or sweats as long as they are the correct colors. Please correct me if I am not understanding your question.

It's because Mr.Anderson said that we are running the mile tomorrow.

That last one was from me Angela.

I would suggest bring them and changing if need be. I did not know this and I am not sure what the plan is. So bring them and I will let you change if need be.

Mr.Williams I need help on homework. It's problem 3 for number sense. It says Isomi saved 35% on a pair of sneakers that originally cost $120.How much did he save?

Anonymous said...

The last one was from me Angela.Angela

Mr. J. Williams said...

Hey Angela
I took a look at number three and this is the best way to answer this question. You are going to Find 35% of 120. To do this mathematically you will take 120 and multiply it by .35. It should look like this - 120x.35.remember .35 is the decimal representation of 35%. At should give you your answer. Let me know if you need any more help.

Mr.Williams I need help on #9 on number sense.-angela

Mr. J. Williams said...

Angela- that problem is like any other division problem. Set it up as such. Move the decimal up and complete the long division problem. You should get your answer. Let me know what you get and i will let you know if you are right.

Mr.Williams the answer that I have is 0.206.

Mr. J. Williams said...

You got it. Good job. Do you understand it?

Anonymous said...

Yes.I also need help with number 13.-angela

Mr. J. Williams said...

Find the common denominator then multiply the denominator and numerator by the same number. See if that helps.
