New Website

Hello Everyone-

With my move to a new classroom I needed to create a new website since I was no longer going to be in room 18. With the move I was able to do some upgrades and some changes to the website. You will see these changes in the coming year with how pictures and videos are shared. I am pretty happy with how it is looking so far. All of the pictures and video have been moved over so you can view them there. This site will stay active but you will not be able to post. Please visit the new site and check it out. The same rules apply. Please remember it is a work in progress as I am still adding to it.

The Final Episode

The Season Finale of Pencil Box News is up. The Blooper reel is about 20 minutes long and was pretty funny. I will be working on one last video for next week with some pictures from the year.

Pencil Box News Update

We have created our 12th episode and I have to say this one is pretty darn good. We will have just 2 more episodes before the end of school so make sure you check back to what we still have in store.

Outdoor Education Movie

If you have any pictures that you would like to see in the Outdoor Education Movie please submit them to Mr.Williams no later then Wednesday May 23rd. I will take either digital or regular prints. Everything will be returned.

Everything is going very well up here. The kids are having a blast and the weather is beautiful. During dinner tonight the kids had smiles from ear to ear. I took a few pictures during dinner and will try to get some pictures from the evening events. Click on the link below for some pictures. DARE Book Published

By clicking on the link below you will be able to download the DARE book we created in class on your home computer.  From there you can do what you want with it. You can print it or save it as you wish. If you have an apple device you can click on the link and view the book as a webpage. At this point you can not download it to the iBooks app unless you have an email address. I am still trying to get it into the iTunes bookstore but there is an issue with the publication site that does not have an estimated time for being fixed. It has been going on for a few days and they do not know when the issue will be fixed. If you have an email address and an apple device talk with me in class and I will show you how to do it. STAR Testing

Well testing time is upon us. I want to make sure everyone is coming to school ready to go for these tests. Please make sure that you get a good nights sleep and eat breakfast every morning. Make sure you are at school on time each day and are ready to go. Good luck you will do GREAT!

Inventors Fair

Our class will be participating in the First Annual Inventors Fair at Roosevelt School. There will be more details about this event going home on Monday, April 9th. I will also be posting some of the information at the top of this page under the Inventors Fair tab as we get going. I have added all the due dates to the calendar so you can start planning. If for some reason you misplace the Logbook I give you, you can click the Inventors Fair tab and click on the link at the bottom of the page. This will take you to a site that will allow you to download and print the Logbook. You will not have to sign up for an account. If there are any problems with that please let me know as this is the first time I am using that service.

RPBN # 5

The fifth edition of our News Show is up and going. They keep getting better way to go everyone. I hope you all have a very relaxing week off.

Episode 3 and Some...

Episode 3 of RPBN is up and going. This episode was about 75 percent done by the students including the filming and editing. I am pretty impressed with what they are creating.

I will be updating the calendar later today to include some important new dates. Please check back later today for what is going on.

The Video under the Roosevelt Pencil Box News should be working now. I made a few adjustments and everything should be fine. I will give 100 class dollars to the students that minds me on Thursday about showing the class how to make it full screen and download it.

RPBN is LIVE

RPBN Episode Number 1

Good Evening Class - 
I wanted to let you know that I had a ton of success tonight on getting the first episode ready for the website. I will admit it was a bit of work but it looks great for our first episode. I did upload a test video and it worked perfectly. There are a few changes I need to make so I have taken it down while I work on those changes. Check back sometime Saturday afternoon and the video should be up. I am pretty excited and I am sure we will all be pretty happy with what we as a class have produced. Great work everyone.
