Hello my students. As promised I have posted something for you to read. Please read the entire post and follow the directions. 

Tonight you have one more homework assignment. You must remind your parents about "Back to School" night and the Ice Cream Social tomorrow night. Then post a comment to this post using the directions at the top of the page. For each student that does this I will give them a stamp for their passport and there will be some class dollars for each student. Have a good night and I will see you tomorrow.

First Couple of Weeks

Well it has been a very busy first two weeks of school. Things are in full swing and the students are getting accustom to the class and all the happenings going on. I have to admit it has been fun getting to know the students and seeing what they are able to do in class. We are working on your U.S. Government Unit which the students are really having a good time working on. There will be more information about this in the coming weeks. I hope you all have a good long weekend and I will see you all on Tuesday.

Jump Start to 5th Grade

Do you want to get a jump start on your 5th Grade year? It is easy to do!!! Multiplication is a big deal in 5th Grade and will be important with the very first math lesson of the year. If you start practicing your multiplication facts now, you will be that much farther ahead in class. You can also use the Multiplication Games or any of the math links under "Helpful Links" on the side of the webpage. Look forward to meeting you all in a few days.

Summer Vacation

Hello Everyone-

I hope that you are all having a great summer so far. I have to admit I am having a great time. I am currently up in Chico and got to see a pretty cool event the other day. I went to Lake Oroville and saw them releasing water out of the spill way. They do this when the lake is to full. With all the rain this year and all the snow they have a lot of extra water. I have included some pictures so you can see the spill way and how high the water is. Hope everyone is having fun and enjoying the break.
